Thank you for choosing QuickBooks Online (QBO) as your accounting software, lwillumstad. I'll be happy to guide you on how to use QBO so we can start tracking your company's sales and cash flow.

When we first sign in to your QBO account, we'll be directed to the homepage dashboard. It has an overview of your firm and a brief business update. Since you're a new user, your dashboard won't have any data. Your dashboard will update and display a real-time overview of your business finances once we enter transactions.

The QBO dashboard includes two tabs: Get things done and Business overview. Here's a description of each:

  • Get things done - With this option, we may quickly create an invoice, check recent banking activity, or record a bill. We can also rapidly set up customers, analyze banking information and expenses, and monitor the status of your paycheck using this page.

  • Business overview - With the help of this tab, we may monitor cash flow, your company's performance with profit and loss, expenses, income, and sales widgets, and check the balances of all your linked bank accounts in one location.

For more information, check out this article: Get started and adjust settings after you sign up for QuickBooks Online.

We also recommend watching online video tutorials so we can learn how to set up your small business for success. Here's a website for helpful articles, video tutorials, and webinars: QuickBooks Support.

Additionally, please visit this link to handle your billing and subscription in QBO: Manage billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online. It will be a guide if you're interested in changing your subscription, updating the card on file, or simply viewing your billing history.

Fill me in if you have other QuickBooks-related concerns. The Community is available 24/7 to back you up. Take care, and wishing you continued success!
