I'm here to help ensure you're able to log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, @WIngwalker.

Before doing so, may I ask the specific error message you received? Knowing this will help me provide you with an accurate resolution.

In the meantime, double-check your login credentials. Make sure you've entered the correct email address and password for your QuickBooks account. Let's pay attention to the capitalization, special characters, or spaces in your login details.

If everything's correct, we can move forward with troubleshooting steps to identify the root cause of the problem. I recommend logging into your QBO account using a private or incognito window. This helps isolate the issue since it doesn’t store data in the cache. Here are the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N

If you can log in using an incognito, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. The system occasionally behaves strangely when the browser frequently accesses pages. It could be due to corrupted cache files in your browser. You can also use other supported browsers as alternatives.

If the issue remains, read this article for more information: Get Help if you can't sign in to your account. This is a scenario-based troubleshooting guide to help resolve your login issues.

In case you need to change your user ID, password, email address, or phone number, refer to this link for the complete steps: Update or change your Intuit Account sign-in information.

Let me know if you need any further clarification or assistance logging into your QBO account. I'll be around to help.

After entering my credentials the screen shifts a couple of times and suddenly the message "there was a problem. We are working on it" appears with and "OK" button. Once I hit "OK" the spinning green dots appear  and stay until I close the window. The longest I was willing to wait was 10 minutes,

Let me assist you in addressing your concern so we can find a solution together, teri33.

May I know which link you used when logging in to your QBO account? You can utilize this link to access your QBO account: http://qbo.intuit.com/.

In the meantime, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to fix unusual behavior in QuickBooks. A good step would be to log into your QuickBooks account using an incognito mode to avoid cached data issues.

Here are some keyboard shortcuts to open a private window:

  • Press Command + Shift + N (Safari)
  • Press CTRL + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Press CTRL + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox)
  • Press CTRL + Shift + N (Microsoft Edge)

If things look good in the incognito mode, the next step is to clear your cache from your regular browser to remove outdated files. It's also beneficial to try accessing the site using a different supported browser.

I’ve also provided this article that comes in handy in managing your Intuit account for QuickBooks Online: Update or change your Intuit Account sign-in information.
