when attempting to receive a check as payment in person, i click the cash or check option, then american express is the only option. How do i correct this

The payment method might currently be configured to accept only American Express, Mark. Let's update it so you can record the payment as cash or check instead.

You can disable the payment options set up in Account and Settings by following the steps below. This adjustment will allow you to record the payments as cash or check.

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Click Accounts and Settings.
3. Move over to the Sales menu and click the Pencil icon for Invoice payments.
