Welcome to the Community, Lisa.

I'm here to assist you in connecting your bank account to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To get started, you'll need your bank account credentials. This includes your bank account's username and password. Once you have these details, you can follow the steps below to connect to your financial institution:

  1. On the left navigation panel, go to Transactions.
  2. On the Bank Transactions tab, click Link Account.
  3. In the search field, enter the URL or name of your bank and select it from the options.
  4. Enter your credentials in the Login and Password fields, then click Continue.
  5. Choose the account you want to connect and date to pull transactions from the dropdown. Then, click Next.
  6. Select your account type on the Account type dropdown, then press Next.
  • Note: Choose the account type that matches your chart of accounts in QuickBooks. If you don’t see the correct account type, add a new one by clicking +Add new.
