Question

When emailing reports, the previous recipient auto populates when sending the next report. Is there a way to turn this off so not to mistakingly email wrong recipient?

Thanks for reaching out to us, mdonald-locumsfo.

It's strange that the previous recipient automatically fills in when sending the next report. Only the following transactions will the auto recall or pre-fill work efficiently:

  • Write Cheques
  • Cash Purchase
  • Enter Credit Card Charges and Credits
  • Charge and Credit
  • Enter Bills and Bill Credits

Your browser's cached data occasionally results in unexpected system behavior. Let's try opening QuickBooks Online in a private window to resolve this. This mode helps since it doesn't save any site data. You can use the following shortcut keys below:

  • For Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Safari, press Command + Shift + N.
  • For Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.

If it stops auto-populating, you can clear the cache to remove outdated information. You may use another supported browser.

In addition, you'll get access to various reports that can help in managing your business. You can view the following reports according to your subscription: Reports included in your QuickBooks Online subscription.

Keep us posted if you require more assistance with this. Have a great day.
