When I canceled my subscription I had QB advanced. I would like to downgrade to QB simple start. Can someone help me do this

Hello Trina, thank you for reaching out to the Community. I'm here to provide guidance on how to downgrade your QuickBooks Online Advanced subscription to a lower plan. 

 

Since you're using QuickBooks Online Advanced, you'll be prompted to give us a call for further assistance.

Please note that downgrading to a lower plan may result in the loss of some features that were previously available in QuickBooks Online Advanced. 

 

To downgrade your subscription successfully, here's how:
 

  1. Go to the Gear icon
  2. Click Subscriptions and Billing
  3. This should be the URL: https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/billing.
  4. Change everything after the app to change plan. Note that this should be the URL: https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/changeplan.
  5. Select a new plan.

It appears you cannot do this unless you are a current subscriber. I do t want to pay for the advanced version just so I can downgrade to the simple version. Is there another way?

How about converting your data to QB Desktop file?

Another option, convert your data to QB Desktop file and you can use the trial version to access your historical data for good.

It appears you must have a current subscription to do this. I don’t want to pay for advance when I only need and want the simple.
