Question

When I exported, it gave me an error but when I refreshed, QB online thinks I already exported so I can't export the checks and tax payments made. How can I re-export?

I am exporting from quickbooks online to QuickBooks for mac. The export usually goes to an IIF file but this wasn't created so now I need to export all of those transactions so they can appear in my QB desktop.

Guess I didn't search enough before posting the question. Here is the answer in case this helps anyone.. posted by another user earlier this year.

Finally spoke to a QuickBooks person on the phone that walked me through re-exporting a check!

1. Click the Employees tab.

2. On the right, under Run Payroll, click the Paycheck list button in blue.

3. Place a checkmark beside the check(s) you wish to re-export and voila!! the Export to accounting button appears.

This also works for re-exporting state and federal payments.

1. Click Payroll tax on the left.

2. Scroll down and click Tax payment history button in blue.

3. Place a checkmark beside the payment(s) you wish to re-export.

Hope this helps!!
