Question

When I try to export the Profit and Loss by Customer Report to an excel spreadsheet, none of the cells have numbers in them. The whole report is zeros. Can you help?

When I open the excel spreadsheet, the names, row headings and column headings are all there, but all the cells are filled with zeros. The report looks fine in Quickbooks and it exports to a pdf OK.

Hi there, buckettruckguy. I'd be happy to assist you in displaying the totals of your exported reports within Excel.

When you export your reports to Excel, the file will open in a protected view. To view the correct values of your Profit and Loss by Customer report, you can click the Enable Editing option at the top of the file. Also, make sure you have the latest release of MS Excel installed. You can then refresh the worksheet to see recent data by pressing Ctrl + F5.

If you continue to experience issues, I recommend contacting the Microsoft Support team. They can provide you with troubleshooting steps for Excel-related problems.
