It's a pleasure to have you in the Community today, @sty1mie. I'll help you to get your payroll transactions into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company.

A possible reason for the error you encountered is that your browser contains temporary internet files. Although these so-called files increase the loading performance capability of your browser, too much of it can build up and cause the operation to slow down. I'll be happy to input the steps to get this sorted out. To begin, here's how:

  1. Restart your browser.
  2. Access your QuickBooks account in an incognito or private browser, and then try to export the payroll transactions to your QBO. You can use these shortcut keys to launch a private window:
  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If it works, and you're able to get your payroll transactions to your QBO account on the private browser, you can go back to the regular browser and clear your browser's cache. However, if the incognito window won't work, you can consider using other supported browsers.

In addition, here's an article to help you handle payroll in QuickBooks Online: Create and run your payroll.

You can also visit this page in case you'd like to let your employees view their paystubs: Invite your employees to QuickBooks Workforce to see pay stubs, W-2s and more if you use QuickBooks Online Payroll.

Thanks for dropping by, @sty1mie. As always, you can post here again if you have any additional QuickBooks-related concerns. I'll be here, ready to help you. Stay safe!
