Question

When I try to invite an accountant a box pops up that doesn't allow me to. How do I get around this?

Let's perform primary troubleshooting steps to confine the problem. You can start confining the matter by opening your QuickBooks Self-employed account using a private browser. 

 

Use these shortcut keys: 

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)

 

Once signed in, go back to the Gear icon, then re-process the invitation. If it works, return to your default browser and clear its cache and cookies. It will stimulate the system and eliminate older data, which induces viewing and performance concerns. 

 

However, if the issue persists, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.
