Question

When running the 'Project Profitability Summary' report, my colleague and I get different results, we use the same filters, anyone else encounter this?

We select the same period and accounting method, and no other filters or customizations. The income in the report is identical for all projects, but the costs is different for about 60 out of 230 projects.

Hi there, aniekquist.

Let's resolve this odd behavior by checking some data on the said report.

Sometimes local internet cache files stored in the system can cause unexpected behavior in the product. This can be the reason why you're unable to see the hourly cost when running the report.

To check, use a private a window and access the report from there. This will help us verify if the issue is cache-related and fix it. Simply press these shortcut keys to open this mode:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox & Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift +
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If the reports is good, you can go back to a regular browser and clear its cache. If the same things happen, use another supported browser instead.
