Question

When starting over after 60 days, I cancelled subscription and tried to open a new account. Email for username is already taken. Does it need time to reset?

You can use the same email address to manage multi QBO accounts.

It's good to see you here in the QuickBooks Community, @rhfishandgame.

Allow me to help you out with starting a new account.

When you enter an email address when you first sign up for products, this becomes your Intuit user account ID. Keep using it whenever you sign up for Intuit products so everything stays organized.

Since you have an existing Intuit user account from the time you purchased the cancelled service, go to the Intuit accounts page. Select the I forgot my user ID or password link, then enter the email address you used to get your first Intuit product.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Intuit accounts page.
  2. Click on the Create an account link.
  3. Enter your email address and phone number. If you see a "This user ID is already taken" message, select the I forgot my User ID or Password link and enter your email address.
  4. Create a password.
  5. When you're ready, select Create Account.

We'll send you a link with instructions to verify your email address. Then you're all set. Follow these steps if you need to update an existing Intuit user account.

Post here again if there's anything else you need with your QuickBooks account. I'd be more than happy to assist you anytime. All the best!
