Where do I find a report showing when checks were deposited?

Hi @carolyn-mccaytoo,

 

Thanks for dropping by here in the Community. I can share a report you can use for your checks in QuickBooks.

 

The Transaction Detail by Account report can show transactions deposited in each account. You can filter the report to show specific transaction types like checks, as well as the distribution accounts.

 

The Date column will show you when payments and checks are deposited or created. Here's how:

 

  1. On the left navigation bar, click Reports.
  2. Select Transaction Detail by Account under For my accountant.
  3. Press Customize in the upper-right.
  4. Below Filter, choose the transaction types you want to show in the report.
  5. Click the Distribution Account drop-down, then select the accounts. 
  6. Hit Run report
  7. View the report.
