Where do I go to create a statement for a customer? I looked through reports and can't find where to go to generate for one customer.

In Desktop version, I would go to customers, then create statement which would allow for single or multiple customers.

I’d be happy to walk you through the steps of creating a customer statement in QuickBooks Online (QBO), elisa.

Statements help you send a gentle reminder to your customer regarding their outstanding balances or invoices that will be soon overdue. Thus, you can follow the steps below to create one:

  1. Go to the Sales menu and select the Customers tab.
  2. Mark the customers you want to send these statements to.
  3. If you're sending this to a single customer, go to the Action column and click the dropdown arrow. Then, select Create statement. Otherwise, select the customers you're sending these statements to and click the Batch actions dropdown, then Create statements.
  4. In the Create Statements window, please select either: Balance ForwardOpen Item, and Transaction Statement type.
  5. Then select the Range of Date when the transactions were initiated.
  6. Review the customer’s email address.
  7. Tap the Print or Preview button to see what it looks like when sent to the customers. Then, click send.
