Where do the Excel exports go on my iPAd when using QB online “export to Excel” ? Nothing seems to happen when I use that option.

I'll walk you through the steps where you can view your exported report via Excel on your iPad. This way, you can review it anytime. 

 

Let's wipe the data from your QuickBooks Online app to remove the cache histories. This will help you see your exported report via Excel on your mobile device. 

 

Here's how: 

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Select Reset App Data.
  3. Click OK.

 

After that, re-export the reports to check if you'll see them right away. Then navigate to your Downloads folder to open the files that you downloaded.

 

If the issue continues, I'd recommend exporting the report using your iPad browser (Safari). Make sure you know beforehand where this will save so you can easily access it afterward.

 

Here's how to check the browser settings on your mobile: 

 

  1. Open Safari,  then click Preferences from the menu bar.
  2. Select the General tab.
  3. Next to the File download location, click the drop-down box.
  4. Review the location. Then select Other to browse for and choose another folder. 

 

Once confirmed, the following is how to export reports via a browser.

 

  1. Go to the QBO sign in page and enter your credentials. 
  2. Select the Reports on the left side. 
  3. Click the appropriate report in the list and hit the Export to Excel button.
