I'm getting texts with a 6 digit login code when I am not trying to log in. Is there a way to tell who is trying to log in?

Hi bert8,

I understand that you're concerned about the safety of your account. I'll share ways to keep it secured.

As much as I want to help you with this, we can't check who tried to access your account. I recommend changing your user ID and password as soon as possible. However, please note that anyone can try to reset a password even if they don't know your credentials. They can just click on I forgot my user ID and password and enter your phone number or email address to get a code just like how other online software works. Therefore, it's important that you don't share the code with anyone even a family member.

Change the user ID and password of your Intuit account from QuickBooks Online:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select your profile icon next to Settings .
  3. Click Manage your Intuit Account. This opens the Intuit Account Manager.
  4. Select the Sign in & security menu.
  5. Click the User ID, Email Address, or Password section.
  6. Make your changes.
  7. When you're done, select Save.

If you have other concerns about your account, feel free to go back to this thread. Take care and have a good day ahead.
