Question

Why can't I disconnect the square app? I connected it. The instruction say I should see ac action to disconnect, but that isn't there for me.

I've got the steps on how you can disconnect the square app.

 

Connected third-party applications should show in the My Apps section within QuickBooks Online. Here's how you can un-sync (disconnect) with Square:

 

  1. In the left navigation, click Apps.
  2. Select My Apps.
  3. Locate Square Reader.
  4. Click Disconnect.

 

Once Square is disconnected, it will stop importing transactions.

There is not a disconnect choice.  These are my choices: Launch, Support and Settings.

    I appreciate you following my colleague's instructions, and you are on the right track, dkeiner. Because you can't find the Disconnect button in the menu, choose Settings instead. Locate the Disconnect option on the settings page, then fill out the brief questionnaire. Finally, click Confirm Disconnect to disconnect the app from your company profile.
