Question
Why do I get trapped when viewing "audit history?"
When viewing a transaction (such as an Expense transaction), one can view the audit history for that transaction by selecting More...Audit history in the black bar at the bottom of the screen. To revert to the Expense view, there's a "<Back" link available on the history page. Selecting "<Back" works fine--gets the user back to the Expense transaction view. However, when the user closes the Expense transaction (by clicking the "X" in the upper right corner or selecting "Cancel" at the bottom), THE AUDIT SCREEN APPEARS AGAIN! From there, it appears that the user is stuck between those two screens. Even saving the transaction again just leads back to the Audit screen. The only way I've found to get out is to start over with a selection from the black menu bar on the left of the screen. This is incredibly inconvenient if, for example, the Expense transaction was located by "drilling down" through links in a report. There should be a way to get back to the previous screen--just like QB would have done if the Audit history had never been viewed. Am I missing something, or is this another glitch in QB?
