I'm here to ensure you can successfully update your sign-in info, minty-armelin.

The Edit sign-in info button is only available to connected accounts. If you're uploading transactions, you'll only see Edit account info. The term "account"  refers to your bank register in the Chart of Accounts.

If your bank account is connected, let's try to edit the info again. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to Bookkeeping, then Transactions.
  2. Select Bank transactions.
  3. Choose the tile for the bank account.
  4. Click the Edit ✎ next to the bank name, then select Edit sign-in info.
  5. Enter your updated bank password.
  6. Click Save and connect.
  7. Once you see a confirmation message, click I'm done, Let's go!

In case the button is still missing, I'd recommend accessing your QuickBooks Online account via a private window. This is a good place to determine if this is a browser-related issue. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

Once logged in, try updating the info again. If it works, let's clear the browser's cache to ensure the program performs efficiently. Otherwise, you can use other supported browsers. They also provide the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks.

Additionally, I've added an article that'll help you review downloaded bank transactions and assign them to the correct accounts: Categorize and Match Bank Transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Please keep us posted if you ned additional assistance managing your bank accounts and transactions. We're always here to help you out.
