Why does the user interface look different on one of my companies?

The buttons a layout is different

Thanks for posting in the Community forum, @eltroje. I'm here to lend a hand.

 

To ensure I'm on the same page, may I know what specific button layout has a different interface? Could you please send a screenshot?

 

In the meantime, when QuickBooks has unexpected behavior, it is recommended to use a private browser. There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources that cause the system to act unusual behavior. 

 

Here's how to open it:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

Once done, try to open your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account again and check to see if it works. If yes, then your main browser causes this kind of issue. To ensure this doesn't happen again, it's a good idea to clear the cache of the browser you're using.

 

However, if the issue persists, I recommend using another supported and up-to-date browser
