I'm here to help share information about your account, @myhaaunderwood94.

In QuickBooks Online, there are two reasons why an account is placed on hold. Let me share them and provide the solution to get rid of them.

Firstly, if your account is placed on hold for the regular QuickBooks subscription, this means an issue with the current payment method used to charge your account. Let's update this information by following the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under YOUR COMPANY, select Accounts and Settings.
  3. Choose Billing & Subscription.
  4. On the Payment method section, select the Pencil icon.
  5. Enter the card changes you wanted to make.
  6. Select Save.
  7. Click Done.

I'm adding this article to learn more about your billing and subscription: Manage Billing, Payment, and Subscription Info in QuickBooks Online.

However, if your account is on hold for non-sufficient funds with QuickBooks Payroll, it means the bank account used doesn't have enough funds to process your payroll transaction. With this, I'd recommend contacting our Payroll Care Team to resolve this. Let me show you how.

  1. Go to Help.
  2. Select Search.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Enter Payroll account on Hold in the What can we help you with? field.
  5. Select Continue.
  6. Click Chat or Callback.

Lastly, I've also included this reference for a compilation of articles you can use to keep your account up to date: Account Management for QuickBooks Online.

It'll be always my pleasure to help if you got questions other than accessing your account. Use the Reply option below to leave a comment so that I can assist you. Take care!
