I can help you figure this out, sheltontipton.

The QuickBooks Online app installed on mobile devices requires version 11 or higher for iOS and version 7 for android devices to work. You can refer to this article to learn more about the supported versions of iOS devices: System Requirements For QuickBooks Online. Accountant, Payroll, and Self-Employed.

You'll want to update the app to ensure you have the latest features and fix this unexpected behavior. I'll show you how:

For Android:

  1. Go to the Start menu and open the Store window.
  2. Select the profile icon.
  3. Choose Downloads and updates.
  4. Locate the QBO desktop app.
  5. Click Get updates.

For iOS:

  1. Open the App Store on your Mac.
  2. Select Updates in the App Store toolbar.
  3. Locate the QBO desktop app.
  4. Click Update

You can also check this article to learn more about the features to use while using the QBO app: Compare mobile app features.

Keep me updated on how the steps work. I'll be right here to help if you have any other questions.
