Why won't this app connect my chase bank account?

I have tried to connect my chase credit card account five times. I get all the way to "connect" account. Then it closes out and never adds the account.

There are times a browser is full of frequently accessed page resources causing websites, like QuickBooks Online (QBO), to act weirdly. And can be the reason why your credit card account isn't added even if you're able to connect it.

 

To begin with, let's consider logging into your QBO account using a private browser. To use a private or incognito browser, here's how:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P
  • Edge: Ctrl Shift + N

 

If this works, it means you need to clear the browser's cache letting the system start fresh and you're now able to connect and add your credit card account to online banking. But if you get the same result while using a private browser, let's switch to different supported browsers instead.
