Let me assist you in resolving this error.

 

We need to make sure that you still have access to the account. This could be the reason why you receive this error. Only the master admin or company admin can add or remove access. You'll want to reach out to them to check your level of access.

 

Also, we can perform some troubleshooting steps that can help us in resolving the said error. The first one is by using an incognito window and log in from there. You can also clear the browser's cache. These are the junk files that can cause errors when using QuickBooks Online. Lastly, make sure that the browser is updated.

 

If the same thing happens, you may want to ask your administrator to remove and add you back as the user of the account. This helps to refresh the data and sync your credentials without errors.

Hello and thank you very much for your input. I am the administrator and still cannot open up my company. I have tried all of the steps you identified and have been on chat with another agent earlier today, but still no luck.

Since you've tried all the troubleshooting listed above, I recommend trying to log in to accounts.intuit.com to see if you have any account access. This will tell you if your user name is still active within QuickBooks. If you can't log in to this web page, you'll want to get in contact with our QuickBooks Online Support team. They can use your information to find your account and view the status of your user name. You can also file a claim through them to gain master admin access again.

Hi, I need assistance.  I have been locked out of the account and I am the Administrator.  Tsheets asked me to change my password as they merged with QBO and Intuit and once that was completed, I was completely locked out of the account.  This is an emergency since everyone of the users who are working remotely are now locked out of the account as well.  HELP!!!!!

I cannot gain online support from Quickbooks online support since I  am locked out of my Account and I am the Administrator!  What steps should I take?  This is an urgent matter!!!!!

You can use our QuickBooks Online test drive and follow the steps below to get in touch with our Support Team. You'll first have to review our support hours to ensure they can assist you on time. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage.
  2. Click Help (?).
  3. Select Contact Us.
  4. Enter your concern, then click Continue.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours.
    • Start a chat with a support expert.

You can also, reach out to them using the steps below:

 

  1. Go to: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Select your QuickBooks version.
  3. On the Contact Us page, click a topic.
  4. From the Here's how to connect with a QuickBooks expert about "Manage ...", hit Start a Message.

This is still an issue that they do not seem to know how to solve or stop from happening. I am the primary and only user on my account and my account is now disabled and I'm supposed to contact my admin, which is me, and Im locked out...I did all of their steps, which did not solve the issue. So they had me send a pic of my license and my articles of incorporation to prove who I am...even though Ive been the admin on my account for the last 15 years. They obviously have no idea what is causing this issue, which looks like its been happening for over 2 years now. It's been over 24 hours and I still do not have access to my account. I'll update if there's an actual fix.
