Welcome to the Community, @deserthorizon.

When canceling your QBO trial account, did you receive any prompt or error message? You should be able to cancel it in the QuickBooks section of your Billing & Subscription page.

Let's use a private browser to check if you can successfully stop your trial. Depending on your portal, here's how:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P for Internet Explorer or Firefox.
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N for Chrome.
  • Hold down Command + Shift + N for Safari.

Then, perform the following steps on how to cancel:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as an admin user. (You can't cancel the account if you're not the master or admin user.)
  2. Go the Gear icon and select Accounts and Settings.
  3. Select the Billing & Subscription tab.
  4. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel or Cancel Trial.
  5. Follow the steps on the screen to cancel your subscription.

If this works fine, you can go back to your regular browser and clear your cache. There are times wherein the stored data on your gateway can cause some odd behaviors in QuickBooks. You can clear them for a fresh start: Delete or disable cache and temporary internet files in your web browser.

However, if the issue persists, I'd recommend reaching out to our Online Support so they can cancel your trial easily using their tools.

Let me know if you need anything else. I'll be here to help. Have a great day!
