The information written below will answer your question about managing two companies on QuickBooks, @goroservicesgrou. You're in the right place for an answer.

Let me share some information about running two companies in one QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. This way, I can guide you accordingly in handling your multiple companies.

If you're talking about your Intuit account, yes, you can run two or more companies. For more details, check out this article: Access and manage your data from the One Intuit Account Manager. It's tagged in the United States, but it's the same thing in Australia.

However, if you're referring to your QBO account, running two companies under one subscription is not possible. Please note that one QuickBooks subscription is good for one company file only.

Nevertheless, you can use the same email address to open and manage several QuickBooks accounts. This way, you can quickly move from one business to another. Otherwise, consider switching to QuickBooks Desktop with a single license to manage multiple company files.

In addition, read this article on how to deal with multiple businesses in QBO: Create or add another company file to QuickBooks.

Please don't hesitate to tag my name in the comment section if you have other questions about your account. My doors are always open to help you again. Take care of yourself always, goroservicesgrou.

@goroservicesgrou

One QBO account is for one company file. You can manage branches/divisions by utilizing the Class/Location feature available in QBO Plus. Otherwise you should open a new account.
