Can you split a tag? I have a deposit that I want to assign different components to different tags, rather than assigning all the tags to the whole deposit.

Currently, we can only choose one tag per group. Tags can only be used within that entire transaction entered. We recognized how beneficial it is for you and your business to add tags n a split transaction in QuickBooks Online. I recommend sending your feedback to our Product Development Team to let them know. Here's how:

1. Click on the Gear Icon.
2. Click on Feedback.
3. Enter a brief description of your product suggestion and click Next.
4. Follow the prompts.

In the meantime, you have the option to enter the deposit amount separately into two transactions so that you can assign tags individually.
