It's good to see you here in the Community!

I'll share information about linking bank accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and help you upload your transaction.

When you connect your bank account to QBO, some banks only download the last 90 days of transactions, while others can go back as far as 24 months.

Since you want to download the year of your bank transaction to avoid manual entry, you can manually import your transactions into QBO. To do so, let's first download the transactions from your bank. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your bank website.
  2. Follow your bank's instructions for how to download CSV files of your transactions to your computer.
  3. Make sure the file format is correct.

Then, upload the transactions into QBO. You can follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Click Bookkeeping from the left menu, then select Bank transactions.
  3. Select Upload from file from the Link account drop-down.
  4. Choose the file you downloaded from your bank and select Continue.
  5. From the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the bank account. Then, select Continue.
  6. Click Continue, then choose Yes.
  7. When you've accepted your transactions, select Done.

I'm adding this article for more guidance: Manually upload your transactions, receipts, and bills into QuickBooks Online.

Once you have successfully imported your bank transactions, you can check out this article to learn how to categorise them into the correct account: Find and categorise transactions in QuickBooks.
