Hi I ve 2 accounts; transaction & cash and cash equivalent accounts.How can I delete the cash and cash equivalent account?

I'll show the steps to help you take care of the Cash and cash equivalent accounts. 

We can inactivate the Cash and Cash equivalent account from your Chart of Accounts. Before anything else, take note that QuickBooks doesn't have the option to completely delete and remove an account. 

To inactivate an account: 

1. On your Chart of Accounts, find the Cash and Cash equivalent account you don't need.
2. Click the arrow icon beside Account history. 
3. Select Make inactive.
4. Click Yes on the prompt. 

To add more details, QuickBooks creates an adjusting entry if you inactivate an account with an existing balance to zero it out.
