Hi there, @Helen11_2. I've got your back, and I'll make sure you can get through this so you can change the date when printing your bank feed forms in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

One possible reason for this is the way it's set up. Know that if you haven't previously added a bank in QBO, the Future-proof your connection prompt won't appear. You'll have to click the Add Account button and search for their bank. Select Get direct bank feeds to get started. I'll input the steps below so you can proceed. To begin, here's how:

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to the Clients tab, and then choose one of your clients to access their QBO file.
  3. Once in the client file, select Banking.
  4. Look for the ‘Future-proof your connection with direct bank feeds’ alert and select ‘Get a better connection’
  5. Enter their account details
  • Account Name is the name given to this account with your Clients bank (e.g. Smart Access Account)
  • Client Name is the name of the main account holder
  • Name of Organisation is the name of their company. If it’s their personal account, put their name here.

Once everything is set, the authorisation form will immediately be created and then you can sign the form. For more information about this, please see this page: Set up direct bank feeds.

If the issue persist, I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team. This way, they'll be able to help you out and change the date in your bank feed form. See this article for more information: QuickBooks Online Support.

Additionally, here's an article about uploading the transactions manually in QBO: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

You can also check this page about categorising and matching bank transactions in QBO: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Should you need further assistance with this? Or do you have any additional QuickBooks-related concerns? Know that you can always post them here. I'll be more than happy to help you out again. Take care, and have a good one!
