Question

I logged on to my account and all my book work is gone, how do I retrieve it? I don't understand what has happened?

To clarify, are you receiving any sort of error message while working with your account? Most general issues in QuickBooks Online, they're usually the result of outdated or corrupt cache files in your web browser. We can clear them in just a few easy steps. 

 

Make sure that you are login to your account and check your audit log if there are changes made. 

 

To fix this, you can perform some troubleshooting steps. Start by pulling up your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how: 

 

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
  • Control + Option + P (Safari)

 

If you successfully retrieve your account, return to your default browser and clear its cache. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues. However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers
