Question

I seem to be missing my bank feeds from one day last week. I have tried refreshing but they are still not there. How can I add these transactions manually ?

Hi chris384,

Thanks for posting in the Community!

If you have missing bank feeds in QuickBooks Online, you can manually upload them to QuickBooks Online using a CSV file  or manually enter them using the invoice or expense option. Let me guide you how to manually upload your bank feeds. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your bank or credit card's website.
  2. Follow your bank's instruction for how to download CSV files to your computer.
  3. Make sure to select the date range to download.
  4. Download your transactions and save the file somewhere on your computer's desktop where you can easily find it.

Note: Some banks may offer a different file format, make sure to select CSV option as this is the supported file form to upload to QuickBooks Online.

Then, check if the CSV file and make sure it is supported in QuickBooks Online. Here's how to upload them in QuickBooks:

  1. In QuickBooks Online, go to Bookkeeping, select Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Select the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
  3. Select the Link account ▼ dropdown and then Upload from file.
  4. Select Drag and drop or select files and then select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Continue.
  5. In the QuickBooks account ▼ dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then select Continue.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Continue.
  7. Select the transactions you would like to import. Then select Continue.
  8. Select Yes.
  9. When you accept your transactions, select Done.

You can then review and categorise the transaction to add in QuickBooks Online. Also, you can check this article for a more detailed information on the supported file when uploading bank feeds to QuickBooks Online:
