Main and Supplementary Credit Card Holders

Hi community,

 

A quick question,

 

Currently I have 1 American Express account with 1 supplementary card holder    , ie 2 cards, 2 separate logins. 

Currently I have the main account connected to QBO,  and it downloads transactions on both cards. If I was to login with secondary account (supplementary card) will I only download the transactions on the supplementary card? Don’t want to trial, unless it works, so I don’t damage my books.

We would recommend checking it with your bank first, jgeo88.


QuickBooks Online only imports the transactions that are given by the financial institution. There are times that the bank downloads the transactions to one account only.


You can connect the sub-account if the transactions download to individual account. Check this out for more details: About bank or credit card subaccount setup.
