My quickbooks balance is not updating when I link my bank account. Why is this?

I am not getting an error at all. My bank account is linked and when I authorise my bank via a security token to update the transactions etc, it says completed but the quickbooks balance and transactions are not being pulled through. Any ideas?

Hi David,

 

Let's check why your Bank Balance is not updating and your transactions are not downloading.

 

Aside from refreshing the connection, let's go through the process of editing your sign-in information without actually changing your bank login credentials. Our only goal is to re-establish your bank account connection with QuickBooks.

 

  1. Go to Bookkeeping, select Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Select the tile for the bank account. Then select the Edit ✎ icon.
  3. Select Edit sign-in info.
  4. Finish the setup without changing your credentials. You will be asked to enter your to enter a security token number again.

 

 

You can manage your bank transactions once they are downloaded on the Banking page.
