Question

No bank feeds for 20 days ,I was told I can update using bookkeeping function.

No bank feeds for 20 days ,yesterday a com.unity member informed I can use bookkeeping function to update bank transaction ,I cannot find bookkeeping function on my quickbboks online ,is there any other way.

It could be your current setting is under the Accountant view instead of the Business view, that is why you're not seeing the Bookkeeping tab. You can still update your bank with your current view when you use the following steps below.

 

  1. Click on the Banking or Transactions tab.
  2. Click on the bank account affected, and click on the Pencil icon.
  3. Click on Edit sign-in information.
  4. Manually enter your bank's login details.
  5. Click on Update.

Once done, check if new transactions have been downloaded to the account. If the issue persists, I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team for us to check your bank connection in the background. That way, we can ask for your details in a secure form and escalate them to our banking team if needed.

 

In the meantime, you can create the transactions or manually import them using a CSV file upload.

 

Furthermore, if you wanted to see the Bookkeeping tab you can switch your view from the Accountant view to the Business view, please click on the Gear Icon at the top right and click on Switch to Business View or vice versa.
