Greetings, @SteveMc1. Let's perform troubleshooting steps so the reminder list transactions will disappear from the list.

Before we start, may I confirm what specific transaction type you're trying to enter? Also, are you trying to enter a transaction from the reminder list page? Any additional information you can provide will be appreciated, as it will help me offer a solution that meets your requirements.

In the meantime, let's implement some troubleshooting steps to determine if the problem is related to your browser. Regular browsers can display unusual behavior when working with QuickBooks, often due to the build-up of cached data. A private window can bypass any previously stored cache and establish a clean connection to QuickBooks.

    These are the keyboard shortcuts:

    • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
    • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
    • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

If it works using an incognito, let's return to your regular browser and clear its cache to restore functionality. As an alternative, consider switching to a different supported browser.

However, if they still not disappear from the reminder list, let's use the Create option in the Action column to establish a transaction for the reminder list template, ensuring it will be removed promptly:

    1. Sign in to your QBO account.
    2. Go to the Settings icon and select Recurring Transactions.
    3. Click on the Reminder List button.
    4. Select the specific reminder transaction on the list.
    5. In the Action column, select the dropdown icon.

A prompt message will appear indicating that a transaction has been created. You can then go to the Audit Log to successfully send the created transaction:

    1. Go to the Settings and select Audit Log.

    2. Locate the created transaction, then click on the linked transaction.

    3. You'll be routed to the transaction page where you can Review and send it.

Furthermore, you can use this article to resolve the issue if you notice that one or more of your recurring transactions were not created: How to handle a recurring transaction that did not run.

It's best to explore all possible troubleshooting solutions to resolve a problem, and I'd be happy to guide you through the necessary steps. If you have any follow-up questions, I'll be here to assist you.

    Hi thanks,

the tranactions are being recorded. it is the reminders list now that is not updatingby removing the entered transaction from the list by pressing f5. I have to select skip to get it of the reminders list. I have reported it to QB regards

    Hello, Steve.

Thank you for proactively addressing the actions you've taken to resolve your concern with your reminders list transactions. I'll provide some insights to help isolate the issue.

Before we begin, may I know if you've already performed the troubleshooting steps that my colleague @CarlSJ suggested above? Using an incognito window and clearing the cache can help eliminate stored data that may be causing operational issues.

However, if the issue persists, I highly recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They have advanced tools and access to update your previously reported case.

Please note that you can use the case number that your previous representative provided after the end of your session. This will ease the process for both you and the next level of support as the case number will serve as their reference.

Here's how you can get in touch with them:

    1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company.
    2. Select (?) Help in the upper right corner of your screen.
    3. Type a question or topic you need to help with, then select Contact a human.

Additionally, I recommend reviewing the following article for further information regarding specifics like our representatives' availability hours: Support Hours.

Moreover, you can read this page if you wish to have an overview of your recurring transaction templates in QBO: Run a report in QuickBooks Online.

Wishing you the best as you work through these steps, Steve. Please know that you can always stay in touch with us by revisiting this thread. The Community is here to help.
