Question

After migrating to QBO, there are transactions already reconciled but still show in the bank feeds and there are no option to "Exclude" them. What can I do about it?

Hi qbo-acsea-ca,

Welcome to Community!  Reconciling your accounts in QuickBooks Online, ensure your books remain balanced and up to date. I'd be glad to provide more information, so your bank feeds remain accurate!

Based on the situation you've explained, the transactions seem to be duplicate entries.  These can be excluded and permanently deleted from your books.  Please be advised that deleting a transaction cannot be undone.  If something is deleted in error, you'll need to re-create the transaction.  If your transactions are listed in the Categorized tab of the Banking feature, you'll need to move them to For Review, in order to successfully exclude them.  Here's how;

1. Open Transactions, then select Banking (Take me there)

2. Click on the Categorized tab

3. Select the transactions you need to exclude

4. Hit Undo

Proceed with these steps to exclude the transactions;

1. Open the For Review tab

2. Select the transactions and hit Exclude

Note;  You can permanently Delete the items from the Excluded tab.

Please don't hesitate to contact us for additional assistance.  We'd enjoy the opportunity to work with you directly and ensure you're able to successfully remove the transactions in a timely fashion.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach back out.  We'd love to help!
