Already have a linked bank account and credit card. can I add another bank account?

I keep two bank accounts and 2 credit cards in order to segregate certain business activities within the company. May I easily add an additional Bank account and Credit card?

It's great to see you in Community.  Welcome!  QuickBooks Online is a dynamic program that enables you to add accounts to your Chart of Accounts effortlessly.  I'd be happy to help!

 

When you create your company file, QuickBooks automatically customizes your chart of accounts based on your business entity.  However, you can add additional accounts anytime you need to track other types of transactions.  Here's how;

 

1. Open Settings ⚙ in the top right and select Chart of Accounts

2. Select New 

3. From the Account Type ▼ dropdown, choose the appropriate type

4. Use the Detail Type ▼ dropdown, to select the best fit for the transactions you want to track

5. Enter a Name for the account 

6. Add a Description

7. In the Balance field, enter the amount in the account, and the As of date

8. When you're done, select Save and Close.
