back dating transaction

Just wondering if there is any way to back date a transaction? I had a deposit in January that should be applied to my 2019 income but it was applied to 2020 income. Any way to change that?

Hi there, 

 

QuickBooks gives you the flexibility to be able to change a date on your transaction and I'll show you how.

 

First, you'll need to open the deposit in question. Once you've done that, proceed with changing the deposit date. I've attached an image below for reference:
