Bank Reconciliation help needed

I moved from Desktop mid month and I'm doing my first reconciliation.  Every day I match my daily deposits to the amount deposited in the bank.  But, when I go in to do my reconcilliations it shows each individual transaction instead of the total deposit.  Is that normal or am I doing something wrong.  I'm used to the charges being grouped together

Thanks for reaching out here.  QuickBooks Online Banking makes matching your transactions a breeze.  I'd be happy to provide some insight here!

 

When you review and categorize your downloaded transactions, those attached to one deposit can be easily matched by selecting View.  This opens the list of transactions, so you can select all that apply and hit Match.  When you're ready to reconcile the account, the history will show every transaction as it appears in your real-life bank account.  This ensures a positive outcome when to ensure your records are aligned with your bank statement.
