We have base currency in Canadian. but us Multi - currency in QBO

With regard to Auto Downloading transactions -  linking Bank accounts into QBO.

We have opened a new US$, US based bank account.

Will QBO Canada, be able to auto download the transactions?

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.

Hi there,

Welcome back to the Community. It's vital you're able to sync your transactions in QuickBooks so you can take full advantage of the program. Rest assured, I'll be happy to share more info and help steer you in the right direction.

The program makes it easy to connect your bank account. It's also important to note that the currency of the bank account will also be Canadian as the Banking module supports the home currency on file. Here's a helpful article that shows you how to: Connect bank and credit cards in QuickBooks. In case your bank isn't listed, you can request access through your bank by following the steps below:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Click on Link account.
  3. Search for the name of your bank. If QuickBooks is unable to find your bank, you will get the message, "Hmm, we can’t find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported banks."
  4. If you’re unable to find your bank, click on Request support for your bank.
  5. Enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided, then select Request.

You can also check out this article here with more info on how to manually import your transactions into QuickBooks. Give this a try and if you have questions, feel free to reach back to me in the comments below. I've got your back.
