Can I change my year end from Oct 31 to Dec 31 and maintain all our history?

We've filed taxes for both Oct 31 and Dec 31 so all good there. I just want to change QBO to reflect the new year end.

Thanks for reaching out here. QuickBooks Online has the versatility you need to make changes to the fiscal year. I'd be happy to show you how!

Follow these steps to change the fiscal year;

1. Open Settings ⚙ in the top right of your QuickBooks Online account

2. Select Account and settings

3. Click on the Advanced tab

4. Hit the Edit ✎ to the right of the Accounting section

5. Make the necessary changes and then hit Save and then Done.
