Hey valantina,

QuickBooks Online is built from the ground up with powerful tools to make your reconciliations easy. The key to unlock incredible time savings is to add and match your bank transactions accurately. In some cases, it's necessary to exclude or delete unnecessary entries. QuickBooks is all about giving you full control over your books, so it's easy to manage these transactions. I'll be happy to show you how.

You can exclude any number of bank transactions at the same time in just a few easy steps:

  1. Head to the Banking tab and choose the appropriate account.
  2. In the For Review tab, check the boxes for all transactions you wish to delete.
  3. Click the Batch Actions button and then Exclude Selected.

It's just as simple to undo transactions that have already been added or matched to your books:

  1. Go to the Banking tab and choose the appropriate account.
  2. In the Reviewed tab, check the boxes for all transactions you wish to delete.
  3. Click the Undo button at the top of the list.

Excluding bank transactions is a great way to ensure they won't be added by mistake and makes it easy for the system to identify duplicates when updating your banks feeds. If you wish to permanently delete these transactions, is only a few simple steps:

  1. Go to the Banking tab and choose the appropriate account.
  2. In the Excluded tab, check the boxes for all transactions you wish to delete.
  3. Click the Batch Actions button at the top and select Delete

With these steps, you're all set to take full control of your bank feeds. If you meant deleting line on individual transactions outside of the banking tab, you can start fresh by selecting Clear All Lines at the bottom of the list.

Let me know how this goes! I want to make sure this gets sorted in time for your reconciliation.
