Can I link one bank account to two separate companies on QBs Online? Also, one of the two companies have a separate bank account already.

For example: Company A is linked with Bank 1 and Company B is linked with Bank 2. The situation is occurred the way that Bank 2 does not have much income so need to use Bank 1 for Company B. Can I link Bank 1 for the payroll to Company B and disconnect after reconciling that one transaction of payroll. Please help. Thank you.

Do you manage 2 company files in one QBO account? How do you separate them?

Hi payables-remedic. Glad to have you connect with us in the Community. QuickBooks provides the flexibility that allows you to manage multiple bank accounts on one account. Based on what you've shared above, you can add the bank account in question despite it being connected to another separate QuickBooks subscription.
