Hi there,

Reconciliation is an important process in ensuring your books are up-to-date and reflecting the proper information. Matching your bank statement with QuickBooks Online is even easier if you've synced your bank account to the Bank Feed. Running into issues is never fun, so I'll happily explain how to resolve ending date discrepancies during your reconciliation.

If necessary, you can edit your ending date if you've selected one that's incorrect. There's no need to undo your reconciliation as long as you're still in the process of completing the reconciliation.

To edit the ending date, on the Gear iconReconcile page, click Edit info to edit the Ending balance or Ending date

If you've already submitted your reconciliation as complete, you'll have to manually edit the status of each transaction in order to undo the reconciliation. Here's how to do that: Undo and remove transactions from reconciliations in QuickBooks Online.

If you're connected to an accountant, they can undo the reconciliation on their end in the click of a button. This is the simplest and easiest way to undo your reconciliation. If you're not yet connected to an accountant, you can find one in your area here: Find a ProAdvisor

I hope this helps.

Have a wonderful day.
