Can someone tell me how to able a credit memo or refund when you are trying to reconcile a your debit terminal or a remittance statement

Hi harrowpt,

 

Creating credit memos and recording refunds are important parts of balancing your books. QuickBooks Online gives you the tools you need to stay on track. I can help you with instructions for creating these types of transactions.

 

Creating a refund receipt or credit memo in a few easy steps:

  1. Go to +New in the upper lefthand side.
  2. Select either Refund Receipt or Credit Memo.
  3. Fill in all the required information.
  4. Click Save and Close.
