Hey there handyman-canmore,

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! Thanks for reaching out to us here. Being able to link your bank account to QuickBooks without running into any issue is important. I would be happy to provide some information.

If you're not seeing your bank in the list of accepted banks, try copying and paste the URL from your banks website, If you still cant see it, you can send a request for your bank to be added. All you need to do is click on Link account in the transaction section, and enter the name of your bank. Next scroll down until you see Still can't find your bank? Click on this, enter your banks URL from the website and click Request. There is no time frame as to when it could be accepted.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here!

@handyman-canmore

Another option, explore MT Online or use one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo) as a workaround.

Hi there. Thanks for connecting with us here. You can request for banking access in QuickBooks using the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the Banking/Transactions menu.
  2. Click on Link account.
  3. Search for the name of your financial institution. If QuickBooks is unable to find your bank, you will get the message, "Hmm, we can’t find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported banks."
  4. If you’re unable to find your bank, click on Request support for your bank.
  5. Enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided, then select Request.

Feel free to check out this article here with more info on how to manually add your transactions into QuickBooks. Give this a try and if you have questions. I've got your back.

Any updates? Would love to sync EQ Bank with QB.

I appreciate your interest in integrating EQ Bank with our program, Jojo. Since this thread mentioned QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), I'll outline two approaches to ensure we're aligned.

If you're using QBSE, let's search your bank and enter the URL to verify whether it's on the supported list. Please know that QuickBooks relies on the financial institution's ability to provide the necessary data.

Here's the step-by-step guide:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Connect Bank.
  2. Search the name of your financial institution. If the system cannot find your bank, you will get the message, "Hmm, we can't find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported providers."
  3. Enter your Account provider name and Account provider sign-in URL, then hit Request.

When you request to add a bank to the system, Intuit seeks approval from your financial institution to ensure compliance with their regulations.

If you're using QBO, follow the same method above. If the bank is still not on the list, we can submit a request for a bank or credit card connection. I've attached a sample screenshot for visual guidance.

In the meantime, you can manually upload your transactions within the platform to manage them continuously.

Moreover, I'm sharing these articles to help you manage your transactions more effectively in the future.

With the information above, you can still manage and categorize your transactions. I'm still around to help if you need further guidance or clarification.
