Changing the principal officer phone number on business account

The phone number has changed with my business account but quickbooks doesn't have a spot to change it  internally - when I try and access my account, its trying to send a code to my old phone number.  I've read some feedback and this seems to be an issue - anyone come up with solutions?

Glad to have you reach out in the Community. I'll be happy to steer you on the right path for achieving your QuickBooks goals. 

 

In order to change your phone number, you'll first need to update it in QuickBooks so you can sign in to your account. Once it’s updated, you can then turn off two-step verification. To do this:

 

  1. Complete the Email Change Request form.
    Note: Make sure to enter your new phone number in the Recovery Number field.
  2. Attach a copy of any of your photo ID forms:
    1. Select Browse.
    2. Find and select the file.
    3. Select Open.
  3. Once the file is uploaded, select Submit.
  4. Once you receive a notification that your phone number is updated, sign in to your Intuit account.
  5. From the left menu, select Sign in & security.
  6. Select the 2-step verification section, then toggle the Use 2-step verification switch to off.
  7. Enter the code, then select Continue.
