Duplicate entries when I sync with my bank account, like 1 entry will be duplicated 40 times. Anyone else experience this and what do you do to correct it?

Hi there,

 

QuickBooks Online bank feeds allow you to sync your bank and credit card accounts with QBO for simple and efficient bookkeeping. It's so important that QuickBooks matches your real-life bank accounts, so connecting your account to the bank feed is the best way to keep everything organized. I'd be happy to explain what to do if you're seeing duplicate transactions in the bank feed.

 

Duplicate transactions will need to be excluded from the For Review section.

 

Here's how to exclude duplicate transactions in the bank feed:

 

1. Click the Banking tab on the left navigation menu.

2. Highlight the bank account you're working with.

3. Check the box next to all the transactions you're trying to remove.

4. Click Batch Actions.

5. Select Exclude Selected.

 

These transactions will then move from the For Review section into the Excluded section.

 

From there, you can complete your reconciliation without any discrepancies.
