Hello, I'm not retrievig transactions for 2021 in chart of accounts, do I have to reconcile the accounts?

Hi farrien,

 

Your transactions are essential and it's vital you're able to retrieve them easily. Don't worry, I'll be happy to give you a hand so you can reap the full benefits of the program. 

 

First, it's vital to figure out why the transactions aren't showing up on your account. To troubleshoot this, I recommend manually updating your bank transactions so you can see the 2021 transactions. Here's how:

  1. On the left navigation bar, click Banking.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Click Update.

If you're still missing the transactions, you'll need to download bank transactions manually from your bank's website and import them into QuickBooks using WebConnect. 

 

To learn more about WebConnect, you can check this article:How to upload more than 90 days of bank transactions. In case there are duplicate transactions, you can always delete them by excluding them. To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Select Banking.
  2. On the Banking page, select the For Review tab.
  3. Select the checkboxes of the transactions to exclude.
  4. From the Batch actions drop-down, choose Exclude Selected.
